How the ABA Board of Directors Election Works

On Wednesday, September 2, the American Booksellers Association Board of Directors will begin seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for ABA member booksellers to join the board.

To help booksellers understand the full scope of the election process, ABA has launched the “Board of Directors Elections” page on BookWeb.org. The page can be found on the “About” dropdown menu.

Booksellers are encouraged to review the information included on this page to learn about the requirements and timeline of the Board of Directors election.

The page includes the dates and deadlines for the 2020–2021 election; requirements to be nominated for a director position; and information about the petition process.
