The Book Industry Charitable Foundation’s Bank on Booksellers fundraiser will return in June this year; the organization, which supports independent booksellers in financial crisis, is seeking authors, illustrators, comic book artists, and celebrities to decorate a piggy bank to be auctioned.

Fourteen booksellers have been selected for Bookselling Without Borders scholarships, which will take them to book fairs across the world this year, the Istanbul Book Fair, Turin Book Fair, and Frankfurt Book Fair, as well as the India Seagull Books Residency and Rome Otherwise Bookstore Residency.
