Through the new BookExpo Bestsellers Grant Program, indie bookseller winners will receive $1,000 for travel, accommodations, and other expenses incurred during their stay in New York City.

Booksellers are encouraged to inform their customers, book club members, and colleagues that the winners and finalists for the Prize will be announced via livestream on the Pulitzer website.

More independent booksellers than in previous years will serve as judges for the 70th annual National Book Awards. Submissions are now open for the awards.
