ABA Board election

All ABA member booksellers are encouraged to nominate themselves or a fellow bookseller to stand for election to the ABA Board of Directors.

Nominees that meet the minimum requirements will receive a form to fill out with more information and will be asked to provide two recommendation letters. Booksellers can nominate themselves or someone else.

Nominating takes only a couple of minutes via a webform that asks just two questions about the potential candidate.

Under ABA’s Bylaws, any bookstore member may submit petitions to have the names of additional candidates for Board officers and/or directors added to the ballot for the upcoming election.

The American Booksellers Association’s Board of Directors heard from President Jamie Fiocco on her activities on behalf of the association and from COO Joy Dallanegra-Sanger on her activities since the last full Board meeting.
