Independent Bookstore Day Masks and Mugs Now Available

In addition to Independent Bookstore Day (IBD) T-shirts and sweatshirts, booksellers can now buy branded face masks and mugs for the event, which will take place on Saturday, August 29.

Masks and mugs should be ordered by July 29 to ensure delivery by August 29.

On Monday, August 10, at 1:00 p.m. ET, IBD Program Director Samantha Shoech will appear during a virtual “Independent Bookstore Day Town Hall in the Time of COVID” event to talk about best practices, new ideas, and how to make the most of the event. The session is open to all independent booksellers; RSVP here.

IBD has also created a list of party and event ideas for booksellers to take advantage of when making plans for the event. As booksellers schedule events, they’re encouraged to let IBD know for publicity purposes.
