Web Accessibility And Your Website

We all strive to do the right thing for all users and meet federally mandated guidelines. Digital accessibility should be at the forefront of website development, but compliance with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines can be difficult.  In this webinar, you will learn:

  • The guiding principles of digital accessibility by learning and decoding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (the federal standard for digital accessibility)
  • How to put those guidelines into practice on your bookstore’s website.

In order to place a video on your website, the video must first be uploaded to a third party, such as YouTube*. You can then obtain an ‘embed’ code which can be placed on your website.

Using images on your website should be done with careful consideration, just like any other component of your site.
