The Retail Floor Manager will work 24 to 40 hours a week to create a warm, welcoming environment for area readers and to ensure The Bookshelf remains a sustainable, viable business, particularly for local clientele. The Book Loft is located in the beautiful Danish city of Solvang in Santa Barbara County. A full service, independent bookstore since 1970, we have served the needs of local residents of the Santa Ynez Valley and the 1.5 million annual Solvang tourists.

We are looking for a results driven retail Sales Floor Manager to be responsible for the sales floor. Our ideal candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.
